A Rich History
Since opening in 1968, Oakcreek Country Club has been a cornerstone of Sedona’s golf community. The grand opening match featured professional golfers Miller Barber and Bob Rosburg, kicking off decades of excellence and tradition.
As Sedona’s first golf course, Oakcreek holds a special place in Arizona golf history. Its scenic design and exceptional playability have made it a sought-after destination, hosting prestigious tournaments such as the Sedona Open and events organized by the Arizona Golf Association.
We are Sedona’s original championship golf course! Designed by the legendary father-and-son duo of Robert Trent Jones Sr. and Robert Trent Jones Jr., this course is truly a masterpiece. Nestled among Sedona’s iconic red rocks, the par-72, 18-hole layout offers breathtaking views and a design that is as challenging as it is beautiful.
The Perfect Place to Relax
Design & Layout: “Every hole must be a hard par and an easy bogey.”
True to the vision of the Trent Jones team, the course is “player-friendly,” offering plenty of room for recovery while still challenging golfers of all skill levels.
The course spans 145 acres, incorporating three serene lakes. Water hazards add to the challenge, coming into play on the front nine at holes #4, #6, and #7, and on the back nine at holes #10 and #18. As Robert Trent Jones Sr. famously said:
